Comments:
The licensing inspectors conducted an unannounced renewal inspection on January 27, 2020, from approximately 9:30am until 1:30pm to determine the provider?s compliance with licensing standards. There were four children in attendance being cared for by one caregiver. Based on the children?s ages there was a total of eight points. Upon arrival, the children were observed in the designated area for childcare during a yoga activity. The children were later observed taking bathroom breaks, washing hands, transitioning to individual activities, and outdoor play time. The caregiver was observed having positive interactions with the children. The designated areas for childcare were deemed appropriate and are equipped with age appropriate toys and materials to meet the needs of the children. During the inspection, the licensing inspectors interacted with the provider and children when appropriate. The bathroom, kitchen, designated childcare areas and play area were all inspected during today?s inspection. The inspector observed the required postings. The first aid kit and emergency supplies, fire and shelter-in-place drills were inspected. Five children?s records, one caregiver record, and two household member?s records were reviewed during the inspection. Medication is not administered and transportation is not provided at this time. The provider does not have pets. The most recent evacuation drill was documented on 12/17/2019. The most recent shelter-in-place drill was documented on 10/16/2019.

If you have any questions about this inspection, please contact the licensing inspector, Florence Martus, at (804-662-9772).
