A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 1/30/2020 from 11:10 to 1:00pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 3 daycare children in care, and 2 non-daycare children (12 points) supervised by 2 direct care staff. The home, 2 staff records, 3 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed coloring, playing with Legos, and eating lunch. Lunch served was meatballs, noodles, mixed vegetables, bananas, and milk. Handwashing procedures were also observed. There was a sufficient amount of books, toys, and materials, which were found to be developmentally appropriate for the children in care at the time of inspection. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
