An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 11:05am-1:15pm. There were 10 children (33 points) with 3 caregivers. A sample size of 4 children?s records, 3 caregiver records, 4 household member records, evacuation drills, and the daycare space were reviewed. The children were observed building with blocks, identifying colors, being held and fed their bottle, having their diapers changed, hand washing, and laying down to take a nap. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-920 Description: Based on observation and staff interview, the provider did not ensure a menu was posted for the current week.
Evidence:
1. No menu was posted for the current week in an area accessible to parents.
2. Staff #2 stated that the menus were not given to the parents.Plan of Correction: We will post the menu starting today.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-960-E Description: Based on observation, 2 out of 2 bottles were not labeled with the date.
Evidence:
1. Child #1's (6 months) bottle was labeled with the child's name, but there was no date on the bottle.
2. Child #3's (4 months) bottle was labeled with the child's name, but there was not date on the bottle.Plan of Correction: We will put the dates on the bottles.
