Comments:
An unannounced Renewal inspection was conducted this date. A total of 5 children in care (14 pts) with Provider and 1 assistant present. One of the children belongs to the Provider. When the Inspector arrived, the older children were playing out on the screened porch area with one staff. The children were engaged in free play and playing with action figures on the table top. Artwork and alphabet letters were on the display. There were two infants in care today. Three new cribs inspected and determined compliant. Walk thru of the entire home was completed to include the front yard play area. The home was found clean and organized. Staff were observed preparing morning snack and infant bottles. Staff were observed engaging with the children, encouraging conversation. Hand washing procedures were observed by the children prior to snack time. Snack today was fresh fruit. No medications on site, topical ointments were reviewed along with authorizations. Only 1 new enrollment since the last inspection in November. Child record reviewed. One new staff hired since the last inspection. Staff record reviewed and determined complete. This inspection began at approximately 9:40am and ended at 12pm. Thank you for your cooperation today.
