An unannounced monitoring/renewal inspection was conducted today from 10:00am-11:10am. There were 8 children (27 points) directly supervised by 3 staff. The home, 3 staff records, 4 children?s records, 2 household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. The children were observed sitting during circle time which was conducted in both Spanish and English. The children were singing along, dancing and interacting with the caregivers. Infants were observed being hold during bottle feedings. Caregivers were observed speaking to children calmly. Diapering procedures were also observed. There was a supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Evidence: The menu posted was from January 2020.Plan of Correction: I will post the new menu.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-90-C Description: Based on record review, the family day home did not obtain documentation of updated immunizations once every six months for children under the age of two years.
Evidence: Child 1 has an immunization record which is dated 3/2019.Plan of Correction: I will ask the parents again for an updated immunization record.
