Comments:

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today at approximately 10:00am. There were 12 children directly supervised by 3 staff. The home, 2 staff records, 4 children?s records, 2 household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Per Provider, there were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely and playing games. Diapering procedures were also observed. There was an adequate supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Description:	Based on inspection of emergency documentation it was determined that drills were not practiced monthly with all caregivers and children in care during all shifts that children are in care. Evidence: During inspection there was not documented drill for January of 2020
Plan of Correction:	I conduct them every month and must have forgotten to document it. I will update the log.
Standard #:	22VAC40-111-920
Description:	Based on review of posted documentation it was determined that when meals or snacks are provided by the family day home, the menu for the current one-week period was not posted. Evidence: During inspection the menu for current the week was not posted
Plan of Correction:	Things were hectic and the menu is the same and the date will be updated.
Standard #:	22VAC40-111-120-B
Description:	Based on review, it was determined that assistants' records did not have all required information. Evidence: During inspection Assistant B's record was missing: Date of employment and names and date of 1 of 2 references.
