Technical Assistance:
Shared with the provider the TIPS Calendar for in-person Trainings and an online website for obtaining annual training hours.

Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 9:15am to 10:30am with the provider. There were no daycare children in care, only one household child. The provider shared that she does not have any children enrolled at this time, but she is intending to continue her license and has children scheduled to attend in the spring. The provider's record and two household members? records were reviewed and were in compliance. The provider has current certification in CPR and First Aid. The provider does not administer medication and cannot without obtaining certification in Medication Adminstration Training (MAT). The first aid kit, flashlight, weather band radio, and fire extinguisher were observed and were in compliance. Description: Based on interview with the provider, the provider did not obtain 16 hours of annual training. Evidence: The provider stated that she had not completed training for this year.

Plan of Correction: I will make sure I complete the training each year moving forward.
