Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 2/21/2020 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:00am-11:10am. There were 4 children (11 points) directly supervised by the provider. The home, 1 staff record, 4 children?s records, 2 household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely, coloring, playing with small manipulative toys, and playing pretend games. Positive interactions were observed. Diapering procedures and hand washing procedures were also observed. A walk through of the family day home was conducted. There was an adequate supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. The home was clean and organized. There were no violations observed during today's inspection.

A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
