Technical Assistance:
Technical assistance today included ourdoor areas, required postings; preparation for anticipating baby brothers and/or sisters.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection took place today. There were four children in care for 8 points. I observed children busy with a variety of learning activities: balancing bean bags on children's tennis rackets outdoors; singing and dancing to Chick-a-Boom and other favorite videos; and an interactive sign language activity that explored all kinds of literacy. If you have any question, please contact me at brenda.kuhlman@dss.virginia.gov

Violations:
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-180-A
Description: Based on a review of records today, not all household members had documentation of a current tuberculosis screening.
Evidence:
Household Member # 2 had a screening that expired 11/19.

Plan of Correction: She will get it by the end of the month.
