Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 9:30am-10:30am. There were 8 children (31 points) directly supervised by 2 caregivers. The home, 2 staff records, 3 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed paying, climbing on soft climbing wedges and sliding down them. Infants were observed having tummy time, playing in bouncers and sleeping. Caregivers were observed playing peekaboo, and talking softly to the children. There was a supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. An area of non-compliance is identified in the Violation Notice.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-210-A
Description: Based on record review, all caregivers did not obtain a minimum of 16 clock hours of training annually in areas relevant to their job responsibilities.

Evidence: Caregiver 1 and 2 did not complete 16 hours of annually training in 2019. There were 0 hours completed.

Plan of Correction: We will complete 16 hours of training from now on.
