A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted today from 10:10am through 11:30am to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A total of 5 children (9 points) ranging between ages 2 and 5 years were present with the provider. The children were engaged in self selection of age appropriate toys and preparing to go outside. Programming, menus, emergency procedures, and 5 children?s records, the provider's record, and 1 household member's files were reviewed.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
