Technical Assistance:
Discussion on staff records, need for additional caregiver, daily age-appropriate activities

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today approximately 12:00 noon 1:15 pm. There were 7 children, totaling 18 points, directly supervised by 1 direct care staff. The physical plant, 1 staff record, 3 children?s records, children's nutrition, supplies, evacuation drills, emergency supplies were inspected. The playground and surfacing were inspected. The children were observed in free play in center activities and napping. There were age appropriate materials for all children.

Description: Based on observation, the provider did not ensure that a caregiver does not exceed 16 points to determine if an additional caregiver is needed

Plan of Correction: I will make sure someone assists throughout the day, during nap time, pick up and drop-off time.
