During today's inspection it was discussed that provider is currently undergoing the process for a special permit to increase capacity; physical plant has been assessed. The modification process was discussed as well as the procedures for possibly hiring a back up assistant.
- Comments:

An unannounced monitoring/renewal inspection was conducted today at approximately 11:10 am. There were 6 children (12 points) directly supervised by provider. The home, 2 staff records, 4 children?s records, 2 household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Per provider, there were no medications on site today. Children were observed learning about the first woman in space and other figures for women's history month, playing freely and eating lunch of ravioli, green beans and peaches. Toileting procedures were also observed. There was an adequate supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. No violations were observed during this inspection. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-180-A Description: Based on review of caregiver records, it was determined that the provider did not obtain for each caregiver and adult household member a current Report of Tuberculosis Screening form
Evidence: During inspection Current TB screening for assistant caregiver was expired.Plan of Correction: She doesn't come all the time and I will get the current documentation when she comes next time.
