A complaint investigation was conducted on April 22, 2020 in response to a complaint received by the Department on March 16, 2020. the complainant alleged that the provider is not following the written policy given to parents indicating that at least 48 hours notice will be given to parents should their be a need to close the family day home.
The investigation included interview and review of policies and attendance records.
A preponderance of evidence gathered did not support the report that inadequate notice has been given of family day home closures.
Results of the investigation were reviewed with the provider prior to closure of the complaint.
