Reminder: All caregivers must obtain 16 hours of training annually.

Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.

A renewal inspection was initiated on May 7th, 220 and concluded on May 7th, 2020. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 2 children present and 1 staff. The inspector reviewed 3 children's records and 2 staff record submitted by the facility to ensure the documentation was complete.

Information gather during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violation were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs

Violations:
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-60-A
Description: Based on a review of records, the provider failed to maintain up to date records for children enrolled in the family day home.

Evidence:
1) Child #1's record is documentation of proof of identification.
2) Child #2's record does not have documentation of names of person other than the custodial parents who are authorized to pick up the child.

Plan of Correction: I will get information from parents and put in children's files.
