Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A (monitoring/renewal) inspection was initiated on May 27, 2020 and concluded on May 27, 2020. The Director/Provider or in-charge person was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 5 children present with 2 staff for a total of 10 points. The Inspector emailed the Provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. A virtual inspection allowed for the Inspector to observe the rooms being used by the children and see how children only enter the home, place their shoes away, and use the bathroom for hand washing. The Inspector did not need to review children?s records because attendance verified same children present were enrolled during last inspection and review of staff records submitted by the facility ensured documentation was complete and up-to-date. The children bring their own meals and storage and handling of items were also observed. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. Please call with questions 703-479-4679
