1. COVID-19 health and safety guidelines reviewed, and discussed the subsequent increased health and safety practices being implemented in the daycare.
2. The record of emergency drills practiced should include the actual date/day, not only the month. For example: 6/1/20, not "6".

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternative remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. An on-site inspection of the home was not conducted at this time.
A monitoring inspection was completed on 6/10/20, The provider was contacted by phone to initiate the inspection. There were 3 children = 9 points with the provider, and assistant's #1 and #2. The daycare has remained open during the health pandemic. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection, and from that information submitted by the provider, the inspector reviewed 2 child records, and 1 caregiver record to ensure documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined one area of non-compliance with applicable standards or laws, which has been documented on the violation notice issued to the provider.
