-This monitoring inspection was conducted by the inspector using an alternate remote protocol necessary due to a state of emergency declared by the Governor of Virginia in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Preliminary data was obtained from the provider on 05/16/2020.The provider has been in Pakistan since February and has been unable to return due to the pandemic , so the first part was conducted over whatsapp with the provider, it was decided that the providers assistant/ daughter in law, who lives in the home would help with the inspection due to accessibility to files.
-A monitoring inspection was initiated on 6/22/2020 , at which time the provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection, and concluded on 06/25/2020. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection.
The vendor reported there were 0 children in care and 3 children living in the home under the age of 12 present with the provider. The provider closed her daycare for vacation in February thinking she would return beginning of March. The inspector reviewed 2 children?s records and 2 household member records submitted by the provider and health and safety regulations.
-The information gathered during the inspection determined no areas of non-compliance with applicable regulations or law, and no violations were issued.
