Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.

A monitoring inspection was initiated on 7/24/2020 and concluded on 7/24/2020. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 6 children present and 1 caregiver staff. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 2 children?s records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and one violation was documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.

Violations:
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-60-B
Description: Based on a review of children's records, it was determined that one record does not contain emergency contact information to include the name, address and telephone number of two designated persons to contact in case of an emergency if the parent cannot be reached.
Evidence:
Child record B does not include emergency contact information for a second emergency contact person.

Plan of Correction: I will ask the parent for the information.
