This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A renewal inspection was initiated on 8/6/2020 and concluded on 8/7/2020. The Provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were no children present with provider. The inspector emailed the Provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The inspector reviewed 3 children?s records and 2 staff records submitted by the Provider to ensure documentation was complete.
The information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or laws and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
The licensing inspector has reviewed with the Provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-60-B Description: Based on record review and interview, children's records do not contain all required information.
Evidence: Child #2 file does not contain documentation of the families medical insurance policy number. This was cited at the last inspection on 2/12/2020. The provider confirmed that the policy information has not been obtained.Plan of Correction: I have spoken to the parents and they said they will provide it within a week.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-90-A Description: Based on record review and interview, the provider has not obtained updated immunizations every 6 months for each child under the age of two.
Evidence: Child #3 (date of birth: 6/4/2018) most recent immunizations are dated 6/7/2019. This was previously cited at the last inspection on 2/12/2018. The provider confirmed that updated immunizations have not been received.Plan of Correction: I have spoken to the parents and they said they will provide it within a week.
