This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on 8/5/20. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 5 children present and 2 staff. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 2 children?s records and 2 staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility. The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-180-A Description: Based on records review, the provider did not obtain for each caregiver and adult household member a current Report of Tuberculosis (TB) Screening form, every two years from the date of the previous screening.
Evidence:
1. Caregiver # 1 and Caregiver # 2's most recent TB screening form was dated 12/13/17 and expired on 12/13/19.
2. Updated TB screenings were not obtained for both caregivers.Plan of Correction: We will get the updated TB screenings done as soon as we are able to.
