- Technical Assistance:
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
No new staff or household members since the February inspection. All background checks were reviewed and are current at this time.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on 8/20 and concluded on 8/21/20. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were no children present and only the Provider present. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 2 children?s records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined one non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-70-A Description: Based on child record review, written information was not provided before a child's first day of attendance.
Evidence: Child #1 started care on 6/2/20, the written agreement was dated 6/15/20.
Plan of Correction: The written agreement will be provided to parents and signed prior to any child's first day from now on.
