Technical Assistance:
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.

As discussed, the trampoline and the playground equipment in the backyard are not to be used by children in care. Please provide plans to relocate and the playground equipment changes for review to ensure future compliance and use.

As discussed, please ensure that gates are hard mounted at the base of your indoor stairs and also at the top of your outdoor steps leading to the background from the lower level.

Please ensure that the door leading to the work room is locked when there are children in care.

Comments:
An Initial Inspection was initiated on 8/27/20 and concluded on 8/28/20. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were no children present and this inspection was conducted virtually with the provider. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed household records and the Provider's record. Information was submitted by the Provider to ensure documentation was complete.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued. This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
