This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A monitoring inspection was initiated on December 2nd, and actual inspection was conducted and concluded on December 8, 2020. The Provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 2 children ( one was Provider's own) present with the Provider. The Inspector emailed the Provider a list of items required to complete the inspection and the information was sent immediately. The Inspector reviewed children?s records and staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. The entire home was observed by virtual contact and the set up included cultural arts and crafts as well as snow on the program's tree that is on the wall. The materials were organized and the Provider has a cleaning schedule.
