The background checks must be submitted within 10 days and results sent to inspector within 30 days.

Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A monitoring inspection was initiated on January 12, 2021 and concluded on January 14. 2021. The provider was contacted by video call to initiate the inspection. There were 8 children present and 3 staff. The inspector emailed the director/provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 2 children?s records and 2 staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility. The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.

Description:	Based on review of two household member's records, one record does not contain the required documentation. Evidence: The record for household member #1 does not contain documentation of a central registry check completed within 30 days of turning 14 years of age.
Plan of Correction:	I will complete it and send it in. I will send the inspector the documentation when it is received.
Standard #:	22VAC40-191-60-C-2
Description:	Based on review of two caregiver's records, one does not contain the required documentation. Evidence: Caregiver #1 does not have documentation of a central registry finding within 30 days of employment.
Plan of Correction:	I have one from another provider she worked for and thought that was ok to use, I will send a new out and send the results to the inspector when it is received.

Description:	Based on review of two caregiver's records, one does not contain the required documentation. Evidence: The record for caregiver #1 does not contain documentation of an eligible fingerprint letter.
Plan of Correction:	I have one from another provider she worked for and thought I could use it, I will have her fingerprint completed and send the inspector the results.
