Technical Assistance:

The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care Programs. Provider has ten (10) days to get Central Registry Background Check.

Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A renewal inspection was initiated and concluded on January 19, 2021. The Provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 10 children(32pts.) with 3 caregivers. The inspector emailed a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspection reviewed 2 children's records, 3 caregiver's records and 3 household members records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined violations which are listed on the Violation Notice. Description:	Based on a review of persons living the Family Day home, the provider failed to obtain a current Central Registry Background Check for an adult living in the home. Evidence: Household Member #1's Central Registry Check expired November 2020.
Plan of Correction:	Provider will order new Central Registry check today.
