The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs. Any individual over the age of 4 should be wearing masks including drop off and pick up times.

Consulted on increasing capacity of the Family Day Home license and the need for Zoning to sign off on the acknowledgement form. Training opportunities were forwarded to meet the annual requirement.

Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.

A monitoring inspection was initiated on 02/16/2021 and concluded on 02/22/2021. The Provider was contacted by email to initiate the inspection. On the day of the inspection there were five children with two caregivers present for 13 points which is within ratio for supervision. Reviewed nutrition, children and household member?s records, trainings and emergency preparation. No medication was reported to be on-site the day of the inspection. Lunch served today was chicken noddle soup with vegetables. bread and milk. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
