Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. This Renewal inspection was initiated on 2/23/21 via Facetime. There were 11 children with 2 staff (29pts) present. Observation of two levels of the home which included the programming space, nap rooms and outside play area was made. Children were observed engaging with staff and provider. An ample supply of toys, equipment and materials was observed. The majority of this was located within reach of the children to encourage independence in selection of activities. Food preparation occurs on the program level. Lunch today was chicken, rice and avocados with blueberries and strawberries as snack. A total of 3 children's records, all household records and all staff records were reviewed. No medication needs at this time. Thank you for your cooperation during this two day inspection. Please email me at: lisa.hudson@dss.virginia.gov with questions.
