This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A monitoring inspection was initiated on March 29, 2021 and concluded on March 31, 2021. The Provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection and items sent via text. There were 5 children present at the end of the day and 2 staff. The Inspector emailed the Provider a list of items required to complete the inspection and the Provider submitted items virtually and some items were sent by text. The Inspector reviewed 4 children?s records and both staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. The children's area was set up with accessible materials and paperwork was maintained in an organized fashion that allowed the Provider to locate requested document and show it to the Inspector.
