The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
- Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. The provider was contacted via Facetime. A total of 8 children (20pts) with 3 staff were present. The children were observed having afternoon snack of animal crackers. Some children were on the floor playing with toys and engaging with staff. Preparations for one child's birthday was underway that involved balloons, decorations and photo shoot. A total of 2 children's records were reviewed. All background checks for staff and household were reviewed. No new staff or household members since the last inspection. Observation of the programming space, crib room, infant bottles, changing area was made. Thank you for your cooperation with this inspection process. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-250-A Description: Based on observation of the crib room, one area of the room was found hazardous.
Evidence: A crib was observed occupied with a sleeping infant (4 months) that had a blanket laying over the side and head rails of the crib posing a potential hazard.Plan of Correction: We removed the blankets immediately.
