Technical Assistance:

The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs. Discussion on upcoming transition of the Division of Licensing to the Department of Education effective 7/1/21.

Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. The provider was contacted via Facetime. There were a total of 12 children (27pts) with 2 staff. The children were observed spaced apart in the large programming area. One infant was napping and older children were observed playing in a separate room designated and equipped with equipment and materials for older children. A large train table was observed with train tracks and trains that the children were engaged with. A total of 2 children's records were reviewed. No new staff or household members since the last inspection, all background checks are current. Thank you for cooperating with this inspection process.
