This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts and documents review.
A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on 7/26/2021. The provider was contacted by telephone and a remote inspection was conducted. There were 4 children present (totaling 11 points), ranging in ages from 9months to 4years, with the caregiver and one assistant caregiver. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 children's records and 2 caregiver records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-800-B Description: Based on a review of emergency preparedness items, it was determined that the provider did not review the emergency plan at least annually.
Evidence:
The provider most recently documented a review of the emergency plan on 3/10/2020.Plan of Correction: My assistant and I will review the plan and update the annual review.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-60-B Description: Based on a review of children's records, it was determined one record does not contain all required information.
Evidence:
Child record A does not include: the mother's employment contact information; the address and phone number for each emergency contact person.Plan of Correction: I have the information in the sibling's file. I will ask the parent to update this child's record.
