This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review and interviews..
A renewal inspection was initiated on 07/27/2021 and concluded on 07/29/2021. The provider was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 2 children present, ranging in ages from 13 months to 4 years, with 2 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 child records and 2 staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-760-A-1 Description: Based on observation of emergency supplies, the first aid kit did not contain all required supplies.
Evidence:
1) There were no tweezers in the emergency first aid kit.Plan of Correction: I will buy new tweezers.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-180-A Description: Based on record review, the provider did not obtain a current Report of Tuberculosis (Tb) Screening form for each caregiver every two years.
Evidence:
1) The most recent Tb screening report in record for Staff #1 was dated 06/10/2019.Plan of Correction: An appointment for a new Tb screening is set for 08/17/2021.
