Technical Assistance:

Discussion of new assistants. A Staff Information Sheet was sent to the FDH in order for the Provider to update the page originally submitted with the renewal application. Both Staff #2, and Staff #3 has started within the last couple of weeks.

Comments:

An on-site renewal inspection was concluded on 02/18/2022, between the hours of 9:30 am through 12:30 pm. The Provider was contacted in person and an on-site inspection was conducted. Specific documentation was also requested prior to inspection; making up the virtual component of this inspection. There were 10 children present (25 points), ranging from infant to preschool age, with 3 caregivers supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration; physical plant; staffing and supervision; programming; medication; special care and emergencies; and nutrition. A total of 12 children records, 6 household records, and 3 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined that there was (1) non-compliance with an applicable standard. This violation was documented on the Violation Notice issued to the program. Description:	Based on review, the Provider did not review the Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (EP&RP) annually (updating plan as needed), and document in writing each review and update to the emergency plan. Evidence - 1. On the date of inspection (02/18/2022), the last documented review of the EP&RP was dated - 10/16/2019. 2. The EP&RP for the family day home was observed posted on the parent bulletin board.
