The Provider stated that more than one carbon monoxide detectors have been installed within the Family Day Home.
The last review of the Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan for the FDH was dated - 02/22/2022.
A monitoring inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews, and a virtual tour of the program.
This inspection was initiated and concluded on 03/11/2022. The Provider was contacted and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 10 children present (29 points), ranging from infant to preschool-age, with 3 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration; physical plant; staffing and supervision; programming; medication (no meds on site); special care and emergencies; and nutrition. A total of 10 children records, 3 household records, and 3 caregivers records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined that there was a non-compliance with an applicable standard. This violation was documented on the Violation Notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-960-E Description: Based on observation, not all bottles stored in the Family Day Home (FDH) refrigerator were labeled with the date.
1. On the date of inspection (03/11/2022) there were a total of (4) four infants in care.
2. Upon observation of the bottles being stored on site, while each child's name was clearly labeled on each bottle, today's date was missing.
Plan of Correction: Caregivers will check to make sure that both the name and date are labeled on each bottle.
