Comments:
An unannounced onsite inspection was conducted today. A total of 10 children with the Provider, one assistant and one volunteer was present. When the Inspector arrived, the children were observed engaged in a dancing activity. Handwashing was observed prior to their transition to lunch. Lunch today was chicken, rice and vegetables with water to drink. Staff observed attending to infants, preparing infant bottles and holding one infant while bottle feeding. Observation of the crib room, bathroom, nap room and large programming room was conducted. A total of 2 children's records and staff training was reviewed. No new staff/household members since the last inspection in October 2021 and all background checks remain current. Some violations found today. Thank you for your cooperation today. Please email me at: lisa.hudson@doe.virginia.gov with any questions.
