Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today between 11:15am and 12:45pm. There were 10 children present with the Provider and 1 assistant caregiver for a total of 20 points within the supervision guidelines. At the start of the inspection, the children were observed eating their lunches at the outside tables in the front yard. The children were later observed planting herbs and spices in the garden, washing hands, brushing teeth and prepping their mats for naptime. Positive interactions were observed during this inspection. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, fire drill log, menu, attendance and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. Standard #: 8VAC20-800-210-A
Description: Based on record review and interview, caregivers have not obtained a minimum of sixteen clock hours of training annually in areas relevant to their job responsibilities.
Evidence: The provider completed 6.5 hours of job related training during the 2020-2021 school year.

Plan of Correction: I will get better about completing my training.
