An in-person renewal inspection was completed on 4/15/2022. The provider and one assistant caregiver were caring for 5 children, totaling 12 points. The children were observed finishing snack, playing outside, blowing bubbles, and napping.
The Inspector completed reviews in the areas of administrative documents, emergency preparedness, physical plant, staffing, programming, nutrition, and caregiver training. A total of 3 children's records, and 5 caregiver/household member records were reviewed.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-900-A Description: Based on a review of the current menu, it was determined the provider did not serve foods that assist in preventing choking to children under the age of four.
Based on the menu and provider interviews, the provider served raisins to children under the age of four for snack this week.
Plan of Correction: I will not serve raisins in the future.
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-920 Description: Based on a review of posted documents, it was determined the menu for the current one-week period did not meet all requirements.
The posted menu was not dated to indicate that it is in use for the current one-week period.
Plan of Correction: I will remember to date the menu each week.
