Technical Assistance:
The provider must send documentation to the LI that the background checks have been requested no later than 10 days following this notification dated April 13, 2022. Once the background check is received by the center, the results must be forwarded to the licensing inspector.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on April 13, 2022 There were 9 children directly supervised by 3 staff. The childcare area, 4 staff records, 3 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed settling down for nap. Diapering procedures were also observed. There was an assortment of age appropriate materials for children. The child care area was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Evidence:
On the counter in the kitchenette off of the child care area there was an electric kettle that was plugged in and extremely hot to the touch. The door of the kitchenette was open and the area was accessible to children in care.
