A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 09/09/2022 between the hours of approximately 2:55 p.m. and 4:25 p.m. There were 8 children present with the Provider and 2 assistants for a total of 22 points within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed listening to a story and engaging in free play. Positive interactions were observed during this inspection. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, menu, attendance and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. There were 0 medications on site at this time. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Standard #: 8VAC20-790-190-B-12 Description: Based on record review, the vendor did not obtain all information for children?s records.
Evidence:
1. Child #1?s record indicates an allergy to cow?s milk, dairy and rice. The record for Child #1 did not include a written allergy care plan.
2. Child #2?s record indicates an allergy to peanuts. The record for Child #2 did not include a written allergy care plan.Plan of Correction: I will ask the parents to bring one.
