An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 9:40am-11:00am. There were 5 children directly supervised by the provider. The home, 2 staff records, 5 children?s records, 4 household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely and eating snack. Diapering procedures were also observed. There was ample supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-60-B Description: Based on review of 5 child records reviewed, the provider did not maintain complete children's records.
Evidence:
Child A's record is missing 1 Name address and telephone number of designated person to contact in case of an emergency if the parent cannot be reached.
Child B's record is missing documentation of the review of child's emergency contact information as required by 8VAC20-800-780 B.Plan of Correction: We will have parents correct tonight.
