Hand washing procedures, access to toys and cleaning and sanitation products and training hours.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring/renewal inspection was conducted today from 1:50 pm- 2:45 pmm. There were 6 children (13 points) directly supervised by provider. The home, provider and household member records, 4 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely and eating snack and napping. Diapering procedures were also observed. There was a supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Description: Based on child information reviewed required information was incomplete.
Evidence:
Child A's record is missing proof of child's age and identity as required by 8VAC20-800-80.
Child B's record is missing documentation of the review of the child's emergency contact information as required by 8VAC20-800-780 B.

Plan of Correction: I will ask parents at pick up to provide information.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-690-D
Description: Based on interview and observation, the diapering suface was not cleaned and sanitized after each use.

Evidence: The cleaning solution used to clean and sanitize the diaper changing pad after each use did not meet the definition of a sanitizing product as required.

Plan of Correction: The diaper changing area flooded. I will make sure to use the bleach water again.
