Comments:
A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted on 04/14/2023 from approximately 10:11 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. The information gathered during the inspection determined violations with applicable standards or laws. Description: Based on observation, the vendor failed to maintain a written hard copy record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs.
Evidence:
Licensing Inspector reviewed the daily attendance records. The attendance log did not document the arrival and departure time for the children in care.

Description: Based on record review, the vendor failed to ensure that within the first 90 days of employment or service all caregivers shall complete Virginia Preservice Training for Child Care Staff.
Evidence:
The record for S2, employed 09/16/2022 did not contain a certificate of showing completion of the Virginia Preservice Training for Child Care Staff.
