An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with center staff. There were 17 school age children present with three staff. The children were watching the school talent show practice in the multi-purpose room. Then, the children were engaged in age appropriate toys, games, and gym activities. Three staff files and two children's files were reviewed - please see Supplemental Summary for missing items. Two emergency medications for two children were reviewed and are in compliance. Two staff are currently certified in Medication Administration Training. The last fire inspection was conducted 1/29/2015. Standard #: 22VAC40-191-40-D-1-B Description: Based on review of three staff records, the facility failed to have a search of the central registry record check on file for each staff within 30 days of employment at the facility ends. Evidence: Staff B (date of hire 2/12/2015) does not have documentation of a search of the central registry check in the staff file. Plan of Correction: Staff B will check with the main office on the status of the search of the central registry check to see if it has been returned from Va. Dept of Social Services. If not, the employee will not return to work until it is returned.
