The on-site visit was from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. On this date, there were eight-eight (88) children in the care of fourteen (14) staff members in seven classrooms. There were a total of one-hundred nine (109) children enrolled in the program. There were five (5) children's and three staff records reviewed and updated. The medication and medication paperwork was reviewed for three children. Areas observed were outside play, fire drill, story, hand washing/bathroom procedures, circle time, transition, lunch and nap. Lunch was observed to meet the USDA guidelines and consisted of pasta with meatballs, corn, fruit, and milk. All interactions between staff and the children were appropriate and the children seemed comfortable with the daily routine.
