An exit interview was conducted with lead teacher, to discuss the results of today's inspection.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today, September 25, 2015 to determine the center's compliance with licensing standards. Upon arrival, the following ratios were observed:
Infant room: 2 staff/5 children
Two year old room: 1 staff/4 children
Three year old room: 2 staff/7children
Children were observed napping, using the restroom, and playing with toys. Children's books, toys, and equipment were inspected and found to be age appropriate and in operable condition. All classrooms were inspected to include main hallways and children's restrooms with no hazards found.
The center had the following posted: license, daily schedule, emergency numbers, evacuation maps, food menu, previous inspection, and various parent information. These postings are located on the wall upon entering the center and in children's classrooms. The center's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected with additional supplies found. Annual health and fire inspections were reviewed and found to be updated. Five children's and one staff's records were inspected with the required information found. The following was also inspected: daily infant reports (2), parent agreements, injury prevention plan, and other pertinent information.
