An unannounced, on-site focused inspection was conducted on 9/13/24, as part of the enforcement process to determine compliance with the Department's Final Order dated 8/22/24 and verified as hand-delivered to the home on 9/9/24. The on-site inspection began at 2:20pm and ended at 2:30pm. The inspector and Licensing Administrator reviewed compliance in the area listed above. There were 6 children present and 2 caregivers. This inspection included document review, interviews and tour of the daycare areas of the home. Information gathered during the inspection determined the licensee was not in compliance with the terms of the Final Order, which required that the licensee cease providing any and all child day programming within two business days of the effective date of the Order unless appealed.
As of the date of the inspection, an appeal has not been made with the Department. The licensee is reminded that the terms of the Order must be followed, and that if the licensee wishes to appeal the Final Order, the procedures set forth in the Administrative Process Act must be followed according to the instructions provided within the Order.
