Comments:
An announced initial inspection was conducted on 10/1/15 between 11:30 and 2:30. The inspection was conducted with the two owners, one who is the program director. The site is in a church and the program will be located in two rooms that are not part of the current licensed preschool space. The two programs will be using the same restrooms, but operate at different times of the day. The afterschool program will use the same playground as the preschool. The children will bring their own snacks. We discussed the requirement to label and date each child's snack. No medications will be given at this time, but the director is MAT certified. The two classrooms have tables for homework, games and a reading area. The center plans to lease vans to transport children from school. First aid kit complete and the director is certified in First Aid, CPR and daily health observation training. Two children's records were reviewed and were complete. Health inspection ? 9/3/15; Fire inspection ? 9/1/15 When the license is issued, it will need to be posted. Also required to be posted is the current licensing inspection notice. The center addendum to the application and the completed and signed building official's may be missing. I will check the emails you have sent.
