Technical Assistance:
1. Reviewed emergency drill requirements.
2. Discussed requirement for a caregiver to have completed Medication Administration Training (MAT) prior to agreeing to administer medication to a child. Additionally, the public school medication authorization form does not legally authorize caregivers to give medications.
3. Discussed background check and TB test requirements for a parent-hired therapist to be present in the daycare.

Comments:
An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was conducted on 11/21/24, as a part of enforcement action. The Department issued a Final Order to deny the renewal application for licensure on 8/22/24, as a result of high-risk violations. The on-site inspection began at 10:04am and ended at 11:09am. The inspectors reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 8 children present and 2 caregivers; the point total was 15. The inspection included document review, tour of the home and interviews.

Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on 11/28/24. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.
