Technical Assistance:
An exit interview was conducted with the assistant director, to discuss the results of today's inspection.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today, November 19, 2015 to determine the center's compliance with licensing standards. The inspection was initiated at 10:30am and concluded approximately 12:20pm. Upon arrival the following ratio's were observed on this day: Infant room: 6 infants/ 2 staff Toddler room: 10 children/ 2 staff One year old room: 3 children/ 1 staff Two year old room: 13/ 2 staff Three year old room: 8/1 staff Four year old room: 8 children/ 1 staff Children were observed coloring pictures, learning letters of the alphabet, listening to a short story, and preparing for lunch. Today's lunch consisted of Swedish meatballs & gravy, noodles, green beans, fruit cocktail, and milk. All areas used by children were inspected to include the main hallways, children restrooms, classrooms, and cafeteria. Due to inclement weather the playground was not inspected. No hazards were found on this day. The program had the required postings displayed on the wall upon entering the classroom and the main office. The center's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected with the required supplies found. Eight children and two staff records were inspected with the required information present. The following was also inspected on this day: annual fire & health inspections, fire/shelter-in-place drills, emergency preparedness plan, injury prevention plan, parent agreements, liability insurance certificate, and other pertinent information.
